Zaccheus is a youngish, but enthusiastic angel who believes in using his powers to aid and inspire God's newest generation of Earthly servants.  He's convinced that high-tech inventions are no obstacle to sincere faith, and that they sometimes even help to spread the good Word.  Though he currently serves the Angel of Music, Zaccheus still considers himself a Jeanite; without flashes of inspiration and modern electrical instruments, reaching so many people would be much more difficult.

 

In his free time between concerts, Zaccheus pursues his other interests:  tinkering with the band's tour bus, programming new special effects (which he occasionally supplements with a Song of Light), or hosting poolside parties for the local teenagers.  He also enjoys surfing (if a suitable stretch of beach is nearby) and fishing; when he speaks to an audience, Zaccheus often points out that Jesus himself spent a lot of time near the sea.  (Oannes, Archangel of the Waters, has rewarded the young Ofanite generously for helping his Word.)

 

An angel with such a high-profile Role, unfortunately, is bound to draw attention from the "other side".  He's been known to hire mid-level Soldiers of God (and the occasional Malakite) as security guards at his shows, to keep servitors of various Demon Princes from crashing the gate.  (Furfur, Mammon, Vapula, and Nybbas would all dearly love to see Zaccheus Fall...or, failing that, get him soul-killed.)  Thankfully, the angel has a few offensive and defensive Songs ready if any agents of Hell come too close!
